Looking back at my swamp hike, the Japanese army anti-heat uniform was fairly well designed with how tolerable it was in the heat and humidity. Tunic had lots of ventilation areas to help cool the body but has enough coverage to ward off any insects.

The temptation to walk out with a $2000 magazine from this museum… (there were no cameras)
