Japan really, really needs to figure out how to actually extract value from tourists. While it's great that people are interested in the country, coming here and spending $40 a day is no good for the economy.

Taking the transfer bus at Sydney airport is always ludicrous but looking around at all the old clapped out planes (obvs still operational!!!) I realised I should view this moment as a trip to an aviation museum. #oldplanesgalore #poorqantas #poorallofus ✈️🇦🇺
