In 2004, my dad filed a case of medical negligence against one of India's most powerful hospitals viz. Batra Hospital, Delhi and Padmashree awardee cardiologist Dr Upendra Kaul. Case was filed in the state consumer court, Delhi & my dad asked for a compensation of Rs. 80 lakh.
