School may be out for summer, but we still have some recognitions to share over the next few days. Congratulations to our May Student of the Month, Camiya Edwards. Camiya is a kind-hearted student who is always willing to help a peer. She brightens everyone’s day!

Kindergarten students had class in here on Friday. It’s now officially our future cafeteria.

Mark your calendars! DJ Cat will be putting on her Michael Jackson Tribute Show on July 12th as a fundraiser for JTF.

More furniture is being installed each day. Here you’ll see the clinic, a nice wooden kitchen and storage for kindergarten, storage for upper grades, and teacher desks. Student furniture will be set last.

Some people don’t get nearly the recognition they deserve. Mr. Tony and Mr. Joe are two of those people.

It’s starting to look finished. Now we just need teachers to come back and make the rooms feel like home.

I’m so excited to officially be back at work in the new building on Thursday!

Some of our Farrar Frogs have been catching frogs this summer.

Our teachers are pouring their hearts into their new classrooms. I can’t wait for our Jack T. Farrar Elementary School Frogs to see them at orientation. Plus, our first play structure is almost complete. **Eek!**

What an amazing start to the year! We had a little fun, were reminded of our number one priority— STUDENTS— by our leader Dr. Catherine Stephens, and then got to work! I’m ready for a great year in a new building. #TCSIsABetterPlace

Mrs. Wendy Coussens is our first Hold the Rope recipient of the year. Dr. Hardy shared that she will often say, "Mrs. Coussens, we probably need to start doing ___.” And Mrs. Coussens will say, "I've already done that." Mrs. Coussens takes charge and makes our school special.

It was a great morning, as the Tullahoma Area Chamber of Commerce hosted the CEO Breakfast today at Jack T. Farrar Elementary School. The Tullahoma Area Chamber of Commerce works with teachers, principals, business partners, & the district to strengthen partnerships.

Seeing our students experience their brand new playgrounds after almost two years without one due to construction was the highlight of my day! #TCSIsABetterPlace
