Mine isn't exactly the same, but i always try to way overplan for Friday so that I'll inevitably not get to everything and thus I'm ready for Monday!

Yes, yes, yes!!!! I overheard an adult tell students to not use Wikipedia the other day and cringed so hard. It's inevitable and most adults rely on it to some degree, so why the BS with students? Teach them its benefits and limitations!

You can be a really good teacher and have strong behaviour management but still be struggling with behaviour in your class, don’t be too proud to ask for help.

The best days of science teaching/learning are when students are open to having a spirited debate that is respectful and evidence based. Mi-STAR has provided a wonderful scaffolding for launching this deep thinking!

Someone said, “What are we supposed to do…recycle the same outfit for years?” And that’s the truly the fundamental disconnect because I’m like, “Yes! You should wear stuff for years!”

I spent several hours troubleshooting a text-to-speech issue in an online assessment. Turns out it was just my use of an ampersand (&) in the passage title 😡. I'm relieved and beyond frustrated all at once! #illuminateDNA

Monday I have jury duty, a civic responsibility that i take seriously, but I hate everything that comes with preparing for a sub 🤢. However, I just realized i had a great nearpod for the next lesson already created, so I might just need to go buy a lottery ticket! #smallwin

I think this is the best example of why zero's shouldn't be a thing if you're using a traditional grading % scale. It doesn't take weighting into consideration, so it's not this simple for most of us, but compelling nonetheless

So Mr "free speech" is telling people what party to vote for and charging a premium for verified status so that only those with 💲 will be able to afford to be heard. I'm out. Goodbye twitter.

This incident rattled my soul last night, but I am grateful for this acknowledgement by the DSO. As a white woman the pain I felt from those hateful words are merely scrapes compared to what others in the theater experienced. Thank you Cyrus Chestnut for the beautiful show 💗

Hold your head up Josh Dobbs. It’s not your fault the Titans waited until week 16 to realize they didn’t have a back up QB they believe in. You gotta have a capable back up QB in football. Josh Dobbs was put in a near impossible situation on minimal prep.

LOL. Definitely would not have ever predicted "Sorry, Sluts" as a headline to come up in the google alerts for my name... Anyway. Let's (finally) get rid of the MI law criminalizing unmarried men & women living together. It is 2023! vice.com/en/article/y3w…

Why teacher appreciation week is important in 1 photo- spending lunch helping a chronically absent student catch up on what they missed. Rare is the actual lunch "break". Appreciate the food provided by our PTA this week!
