From beginning to manage my own caseload, I cannot believe that today I discharged my first patient who I’ve followed the whole OT process with from initial interview to discharge home. Absolutely loving working in Neuro Rehab😁

Across the UK #OccupationalTherapists do vital work getting people out of hospital, back into their own homes 👏 Great to see the work of one such OT, Lindsey Fisher at the geriatric assessment unit at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, covered in BBC Scotland News bbc.com/news/uk-scotla…

What is a stroke? It is... Scary Confusing Lonely Exhausting It's a leading cause of adult disability & it changes lives in an instant. But the brain can adapt, & so can you. Please share so more people can hear what stroke means to survivors, as part of #StrokeAwarenessMonth.

🚨Despite 53% of UK teenagers knowing a stroke survivor, 40% don’t know calling 999 is the first thing you should do if someone is having a stroke. And over half of UK teenagers were unaware of the FAST acronym. #PassFASTon this #WorldStrokeDay and you could save a life #WSD2022
