"While many computer science programs offer students a single, stand-alone course on ethics, an interdisciplinary team of @notredame researchers [including center faculty Megan Levis Scheirer & faculty fellow Walter Scheirer] is rethinking that model." news.nd.edu/news/interdisc…

Had a great time at the first annual Responsible Computing School led by Dr. Karla Badillo-Urquiola (Dr. KB) in beautiful Guadalajara. It was awesome to bring 🇲🇽🇺🇸students together to discuss creating ethical tech designs! (Also expanded my Spanish vocabulary and spice tolerance!) 🌮💻
Former Institute grad fellow Louisa Conwill shares the origins of a framework for software engineering based in Catholic social teaching that she wrote w/ Institute faculty Megan Levis Scheirer & faculty fellow Walter Scheirer, outlined in the Liturgical Press book Virtue in Virtual Spaces.
