For Christmas I got Shelley Space Park by Henry Audubon from Keymaster Games. Fun resource management & action economy, kind of cat-&-mouse at 2-players.

Just learned & about to start playing this awesome looking game published by Pandasaurus Games called The LOOP. Designed by Maxime Rambourg & Théo Rivière with art by Simon Caruso. We are suckers for the trifecta of Cooperative play, time-travel theme, & cool art/graphic design.

We’ve played the new Caper: Europe twice (Paris & Barcelona) and really enjoy this 2-player game by Unai Rubio from Keymaster Games. A sort of area control tug of war to pull off a heist Photo is not of a real play through because I keep forgetting to take a pic while we play.

We played the more-thinky-and-strategic-than-we-expected Vivid Memories by Matthew Dunstan & Brett J Gilbert and it was really good!Love the art by Andrew Bosley of Wits End. Lots of decisions & path planning, layers of action. Solid production by Floodgate Games !

Been dark on this account mostly because we’ve been house-hunting in the Bay Area (a nightmare) with less time for games. We got approval to work remotely permanently so we switched to shopping in Orange County. And boom, we bought a house. We close in a week!! Game tweets soon!

This weekend we learned & played (2x!) Terraforming Mars: Ares Expedition. We really enjoyed this engine-building standalone version of TM (which neither of us have played). Our first game took a while as we got used to symbols & strategy, but the 2nd one went faster.
