Well tried something different this year to break the curse of waiting to plant till later at Innovation Farm and then getting a big rain right after, like the last 3 years has provided. Forecast = yet another potential epic fail. 😔. Beans are in though. United Prairie, LLC
Nothing better than some Timelapse camera footage for the next few weeks on some soybean overtreatment trials, in a minimum till environment!!! Cleaned some residue off close to cameras to help see along with keeping heavy residue on behind stakes #InsidethePlant United Prairie, LLC
Rain day so part of the intern team visiting all locations and collecting spray water samples so that we can send off to get an analysis on pH, calculated hardness, and AMS suggested requirements, along with a few other items looking at 😉#InsidethePlant United Prairie, LLC
Congratulations to Illinois FFA on an successful 97th Illinois State FFA Convention this week. United Prairie is proud to partner with Illinois FFA and our local FFA chapters. We believe in the future of Agriculture!
Drone fungicide studies in full force this week. One of the studies I put together on some lower cost fungicide options in soybeans we executed. Did 2 of these and going to work on alternative more premium option studies tomorrow. Then move to similar on corn!! United Prairie, LLC
Another year and another Drone vs Airplane trial on some corn and soybeans. Great morning to get this done. Intern team was on it with 3 picture drones taking pics and videos and then some on ground doing the same. Will post data later on after harvest. United Prairie, LLC
Scouting multi product fungicide trial this morning and providing some initial observations and things to think about. Never too late in the season to keep learning so don’t give up on crop yet, still a lot of weight to pack in those kernels and nutrient demand. United Prairie, LLC
