Upon checking on my Winter lettuce, I had a yearning for a fresh lettuce sandwich made with salted butter fresh bread with a hard crust and salad cream.

Boring and sowing parsnip seed, 4 barrels with 4 stations in each and one with 3 stations, a total of 19 parsnips will be sown. The variety this year will be RMW02. Great help from a friend of mine.

After the doors were blown off yesterday we had to quickly patch up the tunnel entrance as another storm is with us again. My stock onions inside were watered before being entombed until this crazy weather settles and I can get some doors sorted.

The storm had caused some damage down the land, my old Polytunnel doors have given up the ghost and a tree has fallen in front of the shed tearing up some felt off the roof. Just what I need on a Monday morning!! Never mind, worse things could have happened.
