The same academia that has us working insane hours, feeling imposter syndrome, dealing with cutthroat colleagues, THAT academia is publishing the drivel being discussed in the Qualitative Research paper. Just keep that in mind next time you think YOU are the problem. You’re not.

I just left a meeting and the person I met with told me she loved my hair (it’s in a puff) and when I wear my hair out that it makes her want to do the same🥰 🗣 Black people🗣 your natural hair is beautiful. Wear the fro, locs, braids, fades, etc.

I cannot stress this enough, you have NO IDEA what other people carry with them EVERYDAY. You have NO IDEA what someone’s life is like. Don’t create more pain & stress to others. BE KIND. BE GENUINE. Stop being so mean to people to fulfill whatever it is you don’t like about you.

Has/did anyone else hit a wall in graduate school? I feel like I’m running but getting nowhere. Like I’m not making progress and won’t ever finish. Any advice?
