Congrats to our flag bearers NSGA in Pittsburgh: Ronald Perry (Seat Pleasant) and brothers Dennis Bass (Emmitsburg) and Fran Bass (Laurel). They will lead a huge #Maryland contingent and carry the state flag at the Celebration of Athletes ceremony July 14.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of MSO Hall of Famer Marcus Battle of Silver Spring. A long-time track and field coach and participant, Marcus was an MSO and National Games record-setting gold medalist in the triple jump. Our sympathies to his wife Tracey and their family.
