Our lab's initial foray into DNA damage tolerance in Drosophila was published in PLoS Genetics yesterday. A true team effort, with lots of surprises. One highlight: REV1 catalytic activity deals with alkylation damage, but only if pol zeta is missing! doi.org/10.1371/journa…
