It was another winning weekend for our Disability team. On Saturday they lost 2-0 to Castle, drew 0-0 with Linfield but defeated Coleraine 6-1. Those results saw Ards finish second in the IFA Disability Championship table. Congrats to the team and staff on a fantastic season

Last weekend our two disability teams played their second round of games in the IFA Disability League at Valley Leisure Centre. The Championship beat Castle and drew with Glentoran and Linfield. The League Two team won two of their five games beating Linfield and Hillsborough.

Thank you to Everton goalkeeper Asmir Begovic who donated gloves to our Disability team. Gary, Bailey and Hugh are delighted with them and wore the gloves during Saturday's games. ❤💙

Great to attend the Equality Commission event last week at Belfast Castle for Belfast Met. Access to employment opportunities for those with Disabilities is of paramount importance. Positive Action is required. Great to hear from those working to provide better opportunities in NI.

Belfast Met Football Academy, Supported Learning, Business School and Sport students and lecturers, supported by Irish FA have teamed up to host the first NI Further Education Inclusion Soccer Tournament (NIFEIST) for NI colleges for their EVENTS modules. Great collab project 👏
