Three Coláiste an Chroí Naofa students competed for Carraig na bhFear AC at the Athletics Ireland XC championships finals Sunday in Santry. TY students Leah Dunne, Cathal Whooley & third yr Timmy Colbert. Former alumni Daire O’Sullivan medaled with Cork in the inter county competition.

Congratulations to Coláiste an Chroí Naofa TY students Leah & Cathal who both took team silver medals home from the Athletics Ireland XC championships yesterday. Leah with Cork Athletics U17 team & Cathal with his U17 club team.

CHAMPIONS! Our young stars won the Cork City Marathon Youth Relay yesterday. Cliona Lynch, Rebecca Kelleher, David Maher, Cathal Whooley & Timmy Hawkins collectively ran a sub 3hr marathon to finish a full 22min ahead of the 2nd team. Absolute legends, we are so proud of you all 🙌🏻

Cathal Whooley has had quite the XC season bringing his natural speed to the longer distances with great results. Cathal will be an integral part of the Cork team that will make the trip to the Athletics Ireland National XC Championships in search of medals. Best of luck Cathal
