The wind is wreaking some havoc on our ice control on some roads. Trucks are quitting this afternoon and will be back out at 5 AM. Slow down and keep off the cruise control.

Challenging road conditions will continue this afternoon and evening. Expect slick spots on roads highlighted in pink (covered with snow) or blue (partially covered). Hundreds of MnDOT plows are clearing roads. Give them room to work.

Our plows are headed out for another round. We will maintain coverage till approximately dark or until visibility and conditions hinder that.

Our plows are quitting at 3 PM and back in at 5 AM tomorrow. CR 7 south of 212 and CR 54 south of 212 will likely not be passable after dark.

McLeod County is pulling snow plows until further notice. We advise NO TRAVEL in the McLeod County area. We are tentatively planning on getting back on the roads around 3 PM (if weather breaks as indicated). Plows will be off the road by approximately 6 PM to 7 PM tonight.
