ISEA MNE researcher Ana Mugosa presented a paper on "Distributional impacts of tobacco tax in Montenegro" at the #ENSP conference, that show that an increase in #taxes by 50% leads to the increase in available #income of the low-income group between 1.6% and 1.8%. #ECTC2022

On the second day of the #ENSP conference, ISEA MNE researcher mirjana presented a paper "Effectiveness of tax policy changes in 🇲🇪: smoking behaviour by socio-economic status". 📊 The results confirm: ⬆️ in the excise #taxes of 58.3% would ⬇️ cigarette #consumption by 11.25%.
