It was an exciting day for our Marystown Central High design and fabrication students. We spent the day testing 20+ popsicle stick bridges and had several teams beat the previous high score. The winning team’s bridge held 98.5 lbs! Matthew Hackett NLTA TESIC

These sculptures were completed a while ago, but I’m too impressed with them not to show them off. My Marystown Central High VA3202 artists were challenged to create both an abstract and realistic representation of the principles of design and they did not disappoint. 😃

My Marystown Central High VA1202 artists have been busy learning about value and different mediums. Last week they practiced creating value with charcoal and produced these lovely water droplets. 👩🏻‍🎨 NLSchools
