Dr. Glaucomflecken The man is telling the truth. ERAS has become the AAMC’s cash cow, with revenue (and revenue growth) that far outpaces their other programs. In 2019, ERAS took in $94 million in revenue - more than doubling its revenue from a decade before.

I witnessed this sprinkler going off for at least 7 minutes and came when it was already on. We are in a historic drought in #Utah. The The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, University of Utah and Utah.gov Spencer Cox could lead on this by not watering ridiculous amounts of grass people never touch.

Good critical care is 10% performing dramatic interventions, 90% being aggressively persistent with the seemingly mundane details. - Fluid balance - Weaning sedation - Weaning the vent - BMs - Deescalation of lines and tubes - Deescalation of abx/other meds

Anyone know of any research of commentary related to "Long COVID" and diagnostic reasoning? I've seen a few pts now w/ delays in care b/c Sx chalked up to "long COVID" when it was really something else. @jcjackson68 Brian Locke, MD MSCI WesElyMD

A nice little study we finished up, but still a nice reminder that not all that lives in the chart is reality. GCS in EHR not quite good enough at identifying AMS in ED patients. #informatics authors.elsevier.com/c/1hyLH4xGJ-8r…

We’ve developed the first portable, externally validated algorithm to identify pulmonary embolism based on Radiology impressions. This was a culmination of a large amount of work. 🎉 to my coauthors Matt Christensen & Dr. Jesse Wrenn! thrombosisresearch.com/article/S0049-…
