The idea that you have to agree with someone's views to be friends with them is one of the top 3 dumbest things that has become popular in my lifetime. The other two were Tamagochis and when everyone did that stupid ice bucket challenge.

Hans & Ola Rosling pioneered this kind of display for this kind of data, and it's still worth taking in this astonishing and underappreciated progress.

Interesting paper on deducing gross planetary internal structure from single stations (seismometer) and natural seismicity on Mars.

A step backwards for climate policy. The cap is a wedge issue, not an efficient means of lowering GHGs, and further erodes carbon pricing. It is a complex way to levy a higher price on a single sector, while still allowing Quebec to lag behind others. theglobeandmail.com/politics/artic…

Interesting geodynamic modeling of orogenic / accretionary wedge processes. #PlateTectonics, #geodynamics, #EarthScience.

That is not a "problem in editing" when you splice two difference pieces of footage together and "accidentely" create a narrative. That is called #Disinformation!

TheRealMrBench If you think Trudeau is bad… Carbon King Carney will be much worse. He’s already tried, and failed, to get global financial institutions to include carbon taxes in their policies.

This week I visited another BC lumber mill SOLD OUT by Freeland when she BACKED DOWN to Trump and signed onto a trade deal that allowed unjust American softwood tariffs to stay and rise. Remember, Harper got the tariffs lifted. Liberals let the Americans slap them back on.

It is abundantly clear that it is time that the Liberal Party needs to go extinct in the same way the PC party of Canada went extinct. The rot is too thick and stench to putrid. Don't be fooled by what @CarbonTaxCarney, Chrystia Freeland or Karina Gould try and sell. Same old shit.

I'm wondering what Liberals think about this video in light of what appears to be the majority of the Liberal caucus and cabinet deciding yet again NOT to choose a woman as their party leader and our next PM.
