Once a Mustang, always a Mustang! Some of our Spanish dual immersion students who continued their bilingual journey in middle school just became part of WLA’s first-ever NJHS induction. ¡Felicidades! We are so proud of them!

Everwood Elementary School is coming along! Part of a larger construction plan, Hall County Schools’ second replacement elementary school is an over 100,000 SF building designed to replace the older Oakwood Elementary and McEver Arts Academy. Everwood ES is scheduled to open this fall.

So grateful for our incredible volunteers (pictured & not!) and our rockstar counselor, Mrs. Hutto, for making Career Day 2025 a huge success!

This Assistant Principals Week, we are highlighting someone truly special: Mrs. Tiffani Hendricks, the last Assistant Principal McEver Arts Academy will ever have.

Second grade has been on a roll! They showcased animal research and Earth Day-inspired sculptures during their Expert Book Tasting, wrapped up the day with 5th grade Book Buddies, And because hard work deserves a sweet reward… they later enjoyed an Ice Cream Sundae Fun Day!

We walked these halls as coworkers but along the way became family. We shared laughter, early mornings, & love for our students & each other. Now, as we close the doors on McEver, we carry something no building can hold — the memories. Our story ends, pero los recuerdos live on.
