Big thanks to Homefit - Belfast for its sponsorship of the Antrim GAA senior footballers golf day @ Hilton Templepatrick yesterday. Very well delivered by the footballers themselves, fantastic course, the scramble format was brilliant - we had a great day. homefitni.com
A totally brilliant tribute to Liam Hinphey from Joe Brolly today. m.independent.ie/sport/gaelic-g…
Brilliant from Neil McManus - yesterday he lifted the Ulster GAA senior club hurling championship for Ruairí Óg Cushendall and tonight he’s in Belfast honouring a commitment to present St Brigids GAC hurlers with their medals. That’s what the GAA is about. Grma Neil. Antrim GAA
Dave, Andrew and Basil ran a brilliant business, it was how independent retail should be done - still continuing to this day as ‘Andrew Watson’. Dave loved his city and became an excellent President of Belfast Chamber. He gave a lot back to Belfast. Dave Pennick RIP.
Love colleges GAA, last night Trinity College GAA overhauled a 6 point lead from DkIT GAA to win the Div 2 senior league final. Two good teams, taking fantastic scores, including (sorry!) 4 from 4 frees by Rory McErlean St Brigids GAC, pic with fellow fresher Tom McCarroll Carryduff GAC
Congratulations to Trinity College GAA who won the Electric Ireland Senior Football Division 2 Final last night after a cracking game against DkIT GAA. Trinity had a narrow 0-13 to 1-09 victory.
