Wow - I am shocked and surprised that monuments such as this exist here. I agree with opinions expressed in the article that it is time for a review of appropriate symbols to honour going forward.

I whole-heartedly agree. Beyond the post-consumer waste that ends up in oceans, food chains and landfills, the production of these products create toxins that harm the workers and the environment at the front end.

What a lovely day to be down on the Niagara peninsula, picking up grapes at Hughes Vineyard. Pinot Noir today, and I will be back next week for Riesling. You can see the escarpment in the background.
