Water wants to freeze here on another chilly night in New Jersey's Cranberry Country. New ice shining in the moon light. #NJwx

Standing inside a plume of heavy freezing fog down in the cranberry bogs. Everything is going to be frosted white. Air very stagnant though. Moving on.

It was a chilly start to the morning out here but with no wind and sunshine, it feels really nice right now. Dare I say borderline warm compared to what's coming tomorrow. Enjoy the day #NJwx

Everyone is getting excited about the old-fashioned start to winter here in December with the chilly conditions but we have a long way to go to equal December 1989. Philly & AC are shown respectively. That was a cold month. The rest of that winter was pretty mild in comparison.

Snow drought and a real drought all rolled into one. With this continuous recharge of cold dry air masses neither one looks to improve in the short term. No big precipitation events rain or snow through the 20th.

One thing is clear for NJ in the short, medium, and long range > British Columbia and the Pacific Northwest are going to get smacked over the next two weeks! I'm feeling a Christmas week warm-up here in South Jersey :) Found at tropicaltidbits.com/analysis/model…

Putting the final touches on the winter flood as colder temps arrive here in South Jersey. Sanding season is upon us here in Cranberry world. Probably breaking ice in a few of the cross gates tomorrow morning as things freeze up. 🧊

Recently, New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection & PA Department of Environmental Protection updated their drought declarations. NJ placed the entire state in drought warning (was in watch) & PA added more counties to drought watch, including 4 in the #DelawareRiver Basin. Here's the current map; info at nj.gov/drbc/programs/…

Significant flooding in downtown Silvana, WA today. The first photo was taken around 10:30 AM on 12/11/2025, showing high water levels throughout the area. The second image is a zoomed-in view of the town from that same vantage point, highlighting the extent of the flooding.

Today will mark the 16th day in a row for Philadelphia #PAwx and most of South #NJwx with below normal temperatures. Good news for warm-weather fans, by this time next week the run of below normal days will be over. Enjoy the snow on Sunday morning! ❄️
