Commissioner MC Patiala, Sh. Rajat Oberoi (PCS), invites active RWAs and NGOs to participate in the Swachhta Di Lehar Fortnight . The response from RWAs and NGOs has been overwhelmingly positive, with commitments to adopt parks and key areas for maintenance and care.

The MC Patiala Health team initiated a cleanliness drive at the city's entrance as part of the Swachhta Di Lehar Fortnight campaign. This initiative aims to raise awareness about hygiene and environmental sustainability, engaging the community in keeping public spaces clean.

On the second day of the Swachhta Di Lehar Fortnight Campaign, we encourage all participants to engage actively in the cleanliness drive along Sirhind Road, Baghi Khana Road, and near Khalsa College.

The Health Branch of the MC Patiala, organized a dengue awareness campaign at Govt.Sen.Sec. School for Girls, Old Police Line, Patiala.The campaign educated students about dengue prevention, symptoms, and the importance of keeping surroundings clean to prevent mosquito breeding.

Under Campaign started by Local Government Department Punjab,on October 28, 2024, a cleanliness drive was held at key religious sites in Patiala, including Kali Mata Mandir, Rodesha Dargah, Shri Dukhniwaran Sahib, and the local church.

On October 29, 2024, a dengue awareness campaign was conducted at Govt SSS, Pheel Khana,Patiala. Students received comprehensive information on dengue, covering symptoms, available treatments, and effective preventive measures. #dengueawarness
