SPEAKING WITHOUT KNOWLEDGE
Shaykh al-Islām Ibn Taymiyyah [May Allāh be pleased with him] said,
Whoever speaks about the religion [of Islām] without knowledge is a liar, even if he wasn’t intending a lie.
[Al-Fatāwá Al-Kubrá, vol. 1, p. 191]
Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله
“A servant is always between:
a blessing from Allah which requires gratitude,
and a sin which requires repentance.”
{Majmoo’ al-Fataawa 10:88}
Abul ‘Aaliyyah رحمه الله said: The companions of Muhammad — رضي الله عنهم:
"Do not perform an action for other than Allāh, He will leave you to the one whom you have acted for."
[al-Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah رحمه الله 7/207]
Indeed, from Allah we are and to Him we shall return!
Pls pray for Alh. Aminu Dantata, who passed away a couple of hours ago in Abu Dhabi.
He was the last surviving child of Alhassan Dantata, (Dantata, himself!)
May Allah forgive him & grant him Jannat-Al-Firdaus, Ameen!
Where does grief come from?
Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:
❝Anxiety, distress, and sorrow occur due to two reasons:
●The love of Dunya and the desire to chase it.
●Negligence in carrying out the acts of righteousness (maintaining ties of kinship) and obedience (to Allaah).❞
