I was delighted to join Let's Sing 2024 grand final last night. Thank you to all the performers, judges and everyone involved in this amazing event supporting my chosen charities. Congratulations to Avenue and The Hill Primary School who were crowned this year's winners!

The judges certainly faced a challenging decision for the “Let’s Sing” In aid of the The Mayor of Reading Fund, supporting Refugee Support and the Reading Stroke Support Group.

I have attended the opening of the new Reading West station building. It offers a ticket counter, new lighting, CCTV, a new bus interchange and more. Thanks Reading Council, Network Rail, and Great Western Railways for improving commuting experience.

Today I planted a tree at Tilehurst Triangle to commemorate the life of Mr Dick O Brien, the founding member of the Reading Clonmel Association here in Reading. I was joined by the new chair of the association Mr Chris Forsey, Councillor Debs Edwards and past Mayor Mr Gul Khan.
