The Suns might just need to bench Nurkic entirely if they can’t find a trade. It’s beyond obvious how much better things are without him.

I mean, everyone in the country just watched that. It was obvious targeting. Guess they just know they can get away with misapplying the rules

Putting Kyler aside, I don’t understand this tweet. I’m drawing the opposite conclusion: Outside the elite guys (which appears to include Daniels), playoff QB play has been ugly and suggests a smaller difference between the ~6th best and ~20th best guys.

Try to appreciate Patrick Mahomes, even if he frustrates you. He may end up being the greatest athlete you ever watch.

The "conspiratorial" Luka trade explanation is the most plausible. You don't trade a guy who carried you to the Finals at 25yo without a bidding war. But to a league with ratings issues, Luka to LA is a godsend. Is this the NBA crossing the Rubicon from legitimate league to WWE?

At this point, is Suns Twitter just warring factions of teenagers debating amongst themselves as to why the individual player they've devoted their entire fandom to is not the reason the Suns suck?

This game is *so* good. Basketball at the highest level is meant to be played almost without whistles, and so far the refs are on point.

Devin Booker is my all-time favorite Suns player. You can convince me that keeping him in PHX for life is worth not maximizing your long-term chances to win. But if this is what Bane fetched, trading Book would almost certainly be the correct team-building move, sentiment aside.

If this is true, the Suns are incredibly incompetent for not making the trade contingent on Maluach being unavailable.

I’m not sure I understand the downside in signing Chris Paul if he’s willing to take “an extremely limited role” and play for the minimum.
