Stanley is lucky he got introduced in The Great Discovery and has a cool basis because character-wise, he's about as one-note as the majority of other HiT Era newbies

Surprise! I've also been working on Pilot Gordon for the past week or so now. He won't release at the same time as Thomas, but he will (hopefully) not be following too far behind.

This is nowhere near what Awdry intended when writing that letter all those years ago, but it'd be really funny if the two engines were completely chill with Thomas the whole time they were on Sodor, since the letter never mentions him as one of the engines they were rude to.
