Out today in Journal of Neuro-Oncology, terrific work by Daniel Aaronson, MD et al. demonstrating (1) volume of postop diffusion restriction differentiates survival independent of new neurological deficit in #GBM, and (2) iMRI poorly detects hyperacute infarcts. link.springer.com/article/10.100…

Recently learned that Medical College of Wisconsin & Froedtert was top-10 in 2024 for #LITT procedures for neurosurgical oncology in the US. It has been a remarkably effective treatment for patients with difficult lesions, like this recent case. MCW Cancer Center MCW Neurosurgery
