One of my favorite things is writing about other scientists’ amazing research! Here a Trends in Ecology & Evolution spotlight about a paper in Ecography by Monte Neate-Clegg and Morgan Tingley. Birds respond differently to climate change in the tropics - more tropical research needed 🙌🏽

Changes in an #alpine #plant community over 20yrs were mainly affected by dispersal limitation besides #environmental filtering. Limited dispersal capacity may thus hinder isolated cold areas from effectively protecting high alpine plants from warming: besjournals.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/13…
Four interesting weeks of field work in the Arabuko Sokoke Forest of Kenya are coming to an end. The Salzburg Environment and Biodiversity team & Maximilian Hanusch investigated insect diversity, as well as vegetation structure & habitat parameters.🪲🦗🐜🍃🌳🪵
