Most guys do not swing hard. They do swing fast. If your cruising speed isn’t high, that’s bad…because then you do get tempting to muscle up. And you will be exposed. But you can train to raise the floor. Easy swings, fast.

Regardless of how fast your baseline is, your hardest swings are largely a reflection of how confident you are in the pitch you're seeing. The difference is that Ohtani's fastest swings turn into 54 HR and Arraez's turn into 4. The intra-player trend is largely the same.
