I’ve reported the burst pipe on Lakeside Parkway to North Lincs Council, and flagged it as urgent. Thank you to the residents who also reported it to Anglian Water. They have “allocated an engineer” to the issue, and are “aiming to visit by 20:38” this evening.

For any residents interested, Lakeside Parkway is likely to be closed between Ashby Ville and Pochard Drive until Friday. That’s when Anglian Water are saying the burst water pipe work should be completed. You can track it online at: anglianwater.co.uk/your-local-are…

Now there are not just one, but two, different leaks on Lakeside Parkway. With nobody working on either of them Anglian Water. Part of the estate now has no water at all. Absolutely amazing work.

Sad times. I think Clunan has been under-rated, and ended the season very well. Good luck to him, I hope his career goes from strength to strength.

Residents don’t expect miracles with their council tax. But half-decent roads, and taking less than 8 months for basic fence repairs, would be a good start. Thank you to Scunthorpe Live for shaming North Lincs Council into action. grimsbytelegraph.co.uk/news/local-new…

It was great to be able to attend the North Lincolnshire Armed Forces Day, at Brumby Hall this afternoon. Massively done to the organisers. And everyone who braved the heat and the rain!

Whilst walking to the Armed Forces Day, I also encountered this over-flowing bin on Ashby Road. I immediately reported it to North Lincs Council, and asked for it to be cleared asap 👇🗑️

Thank you to the local residents, for an excellent walk around the Lakeside Estate this afternoon. We found lots of examples of really shoddy work from the developer(s). I’ll be picking this up with the developers and council asap 👇

For anyone interested, North Lincolnshire Council have approved a speed reduction locally. An extra part of the B1398 (North Cliff Road) in Kirton is now 40mph. You can read more below. northlincolnshire.moderngov.co.uk/ieDecisionDeta…
