I'm listening to my father explain to my husband why I am wrong to defend myself against book bans. They are in the other room. I need your help. Please advise.

The reasoning is that people trying to remove books are exercising freedom of speech. I went in and tried to explain that this is the opposite, but then I smiled into the middle distance and imagined the sea.

I did eventually go into the other room to have this book banning discussion. If you are going to stab me, stab me in the front. LOOK ME IN THE EYE AND SMILE. That is all I ask.
