It’s a policy failure that the argument here is “buy a bigger vehicle to be safe.” We should be engineering roads for slower speeds. Investing in multimodal transport so everyone has safe, reliable transport while reducing vehicles. Not $150k vehicles that few can afford.

Going to National Championship track races is wild. You’re sitting there with all the other normal people and also casually watching former and future olympians, world champions, and world record holders walk by. What other sport has that kind of access?

Funny story….my previous company named all their office buildings in alphanumeric sequence - Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, etc. They bought out an old state farm regional office and named it Jake by majority vote of the employees.
