Morning trail run w/ Austin Espeseth In prep for a 50 mile trail race 🧱

In my last trail race my hip flexors are what killed my time Weak and tight hips left me hobbling across the finish line So I signed up for a race that is 3x the distance (50 miles) My favorite movement in building my hip flexors 👇🏼🧱

Today I read one of the most motivating verses in the Bible, and I have to share it with you. Paul is writing to the church in Thessalonica, and unlike some of his other letters, this one overflows with gratitude. He’s proud of their faith. And in 2 Thessalonians 1:11 he writes:

Christians should be the fittest people on this earth I mean the Bible literally tells us to honor our bodies because God Himself died for them We were bought at a price my brothers and sisters

If you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior then your actions WILL change If you are not changing the way you live then you haven’t put your faith in Jesus

Jesus spent his ministry walking hundreds of miles, fasting regularly, and eating only food that came from God. He set the standard for Christians to be in shape.
