“At the age of 39 I decided that I wanted to embark on a new career. Having already studied Social Work at University I began to look for courses. I found the Mental Health Nursing and Social Work (MNSW) course at Edge Hill which looked perfect.

I'm still a bit red and sore, but here is my celebration tattoo for getting my permanent promotion in work. I wanted to include the excellent training I got to get me there. Edge Hill University #integratedpractitioner

I am thrilled to hear that integrated practitioners are being included in the NHS Moving Forward Together Plan. This is a significant step towards achieving a more holistic and patient-centered healthcare approach. I have spoken about the resistance we have faced from the NHS.

Good luck to all the final year MNSW students. I look forward to seeing you all in the workforce.

After a gruelling 2.5 hour interview, I have been successful in gaining my next promotion. I'll be sad to leave my current team, but new opportunities, experiences, and adventures await. Becoming a Nurse/Social worker was the best move I've ever made.

I am incredibly proud to have signed off our first student integrated practitioner Miss Liomah Hulme. Liomah was an amazing student, and I can't wait to see her career develop.

Ok, last one for a while 🤣 I am delighted to say that I have been successful in gaining the clinical lead role at Priory. Integrated Practitice is embeded here now, and I can't wait to develop it further.
