Youโ€™re stranded on the side of the road โ€” no cell phones, no plan. What do you do? What if God had already provided: a farmer, a home, a repair, and even a 19-inch catfish? Sometimes, his care is written into the smallest details. Do you trust him in yours?

John Gill on Lev 18:5/Gal 3:12: Since eternal life is a promise made before the world began, is provided for in an everlasting covenant ... & is the gift of God's grace through Christ, it seems that it never was the will of God that it should be obtained by the works of the law.

Excellent. As I've warned people coming to our church, the folks who come in "highest" about us often have the farthest to fall. As in relationships, you eventually have to graduate from the infatuation phase into real faithfulness. Or things will get ugly.

Either the Lord will be our stability, or there will be no stability. There are no other options. "He will be the stability of your times, abundance of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge; the fear of the Lord is Zion's treasure." -Isaiah 33:6
