Make targetted advertising illegal. There is just no benefit to consumers. It has led to this massive, leaky corporate surveillance abomination that supports tech giants over creatives all so you see shitty-scammy ads for garbage.

If the social media site I paid billions for wasnt making its nut from ads/subs then I'd probably pivot to make money as a propaganda tool. The best way I could advertise that service would be to work my ass off showing how to use it to win a major election. Time for my big push!
