Always struck me as weird when screens like this are an afterthought. Even now, still see 2010 Bootstrap look. A great login page sets the stage. This is the entry-point to your app. IMO, you should be trying to wow people.

Spent today working on an organization selector for Avaro using AlpineJS. Love how much you can do with Alpine. Don't always need to reach for Vue or React. - No script tag or complex state - Simple attribute & class bindings - UX niceties (keyup.escape, click.outside)

🎨 Been playing with the layout for Avaro and I'm happy where it's landed. Clean, spacious, easy to follow. One thing I've learned from working on many apps is that sweating the details on layouts is worth it. When you get it right, the rest of the design falls into place.

Sometimes X can make you think you need to be a AAA designer to do animation. You don't! A lot of the time you can achieve visual flare just with a few tailwind classes. In this example, it's just this: opacity-0 hover:opacity-100 hover:translate-x-1/2 transition duration-300

🎨 Spent this morning designing alerts for Avaro One thing I've learned is that not all alerts are truly urgent / require the user's immediate attention. As such, they shouldn't dominate the page. 💡 Using a white background helps a lot with this.
