I don’t know who needs to hear this, but if your values are Aristotelian (or Platonic, or Stoic, or Epicurean) or generally based in Ancient Greek ways of being, centering around Attic democracy, you’re going to find yourselves aligned with some pretty dark ideas about the world.

Jake At the end of the day, we should expect to disagree on many things. That's fine, even good, and no threat to "the church." But I think honesty, accuracy, & transparency should characterize both agreement & disagreement, and that's not what I've observed the last few days.
