Any Xcode users out there who use RTTI in C++ heavily? Peter Steinberger maybe? Any idea why _LIBCPP_HAS_MERGED_TYPEINFO_NAMES_DEFAULT changed in Xcode 12.2 (it's now 1 whereas in Xcode 12.1 it was 0). It breaks thing for us: developer.apple.com/forums/thread/…

Our 4 year old still believes that the things he sees in VR are *actually real*. I guess this is one of the reasons why there are suggested minimum ages for VR. It definitely fascinates me the psychology behind it all.

Do I know anyone (or anyone knows anyone) at Apple on the compiler team? The Xcode 12.2 bug I mentioned last week about RTTI actually seems to be a bug on the boundary of clang and libc++. This essentially: bugs.llvm.org/show_bug.cgi?i…. It's way worse than I originally thought.

The DTK $200 voucher is a bit of a joke, as lots of others are saying. It isn't really fair to the vast majority of developers out there who have used the device to get ready for M1, something which benefits Apple greatly. Meh Apple.

Well! Apple heard us on the DTK return offer. That was a very pleasant surprise!

The Apple DTK return was a strange experience. DHL just turned up yesterday without giving me a text first like Apple said they would. I was only happy with handing it over when the driver had paperwork with the word “Apple” on it, and my phone number.
