Oh my god. Mookie Betts just homered into the first row in left. This time, Jurickson Profar did not rob him. But Betts thought he did and literally started running off the field. This series is just absurd. Dodgers grab the lead in Game 3. Top-1 homers in all three games.

Teoscar Hernández hit a grand slam, and the Padres' lead has been trimmed to 6-5. It's only the third inning. This game is outrageous. Meantime, that's only the second postseason grand slam at Petco Park. Giancarlo Stanton, in the Yankees-Rays COVID-season ALDS hit one as well.

Final: Padres 6, Dodgers 5 Fernando Tatis Jr.'s two-run homer proved decisive. The bullpen nailed it down in a major way. The Padres are one win from eliminating the Dodgers and making a second trip to the NLCS in three years. Game 4 tomorrow night at Petco Park.

FINAL: Padres 6, Dodgers 5 San Diego ambushed Los Angeles early, and its bullpen followed with four near-perfect innings. The Padres can knock the Dodgers out of the postseason tomorrow for the second time in three years. And they'll try to at the madhouse that is Petco Park.

Behind a shutdown bullpen, Fernando Tatis Jr.'s power and Manny Machado's heads-up base running, the Padres beat the Dodgers, 6-5, in front of the largest crowd in Petco Park history. San Diego is a win away from returning to the NLCS.
