This Govt once again pushing through guidance without consultation or scrutiny, in an attempt to stoke division between communities and silence the voices it disagrees with.

During today's #PMQs , Speaker Lindsay Hoyle ignored Diane Abbott who repeatedly stood to ask a question. Britain's first Black woman MP being disrespected in the House of Commons, as news emerged of the Tory Party's biggest donor saying she should be shot, is most concerning.

This is so dangerous and sets a precedent for these vulnerable young trans people that adults know their bodies better than they do. That their words and their voices aren't to be tolerated because cis people 'know better'.

Being told we should worry about division by someone who’s very publicly stoked tensions in recent weeks

There’s a word for that isn’t there ⛽️💡

It’s ironic the Prime Minister used tonight’s speech to denounce division and seek unity, when some of the most inflammatory language we’ve seen in recent weeks has come directly from him and his Government

amongst the deeply concerning parts of the PM's speech was the warning that 'if those here on visas seek to spew hate, protest or seek to intimidate people, we will remove their right to be here'

it is simply wrong to conflate protest & hate/harassment & deny migrants' rights

There don’t seem to be any new announcements in the Prime Minister’s speech. It comes after a long week of the PM insulting people who take to the streets to exercise their democratic right to protest.
