Grateful to have caught #TheCrucible Leeds Playhouse tonight. The set, lighting, and movement choices shaped an atmosphere that was inescapably heavy with a sense of unrelenting, quasi-voyeuristic scrutiny. Its scenes of frenzied fear and ill will were truly chilling John Young.
