May Day normally marks the hard road workers have travelled for workers rights (8 hour work day, weekends, minimum wage). This May Day Alliance have slapped those workers over the head and demanded they go to work.

I would love to see an official flag (and anthem) for Northern Ireland. However, it would need buy-in from all communities. A flag/anthem that is used by the GAA before matches and the OO on the 12th would be no easy task to find. But that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t try.
