This morning I wrote to my MP, the Leader of the House of Commons, re Wes Streeting breaking precedent and politically intervening in established medical practice. Puberty blockers are safe, effective and offer trans children options and time.

Labour's manifesto promised to "remove indignities for trans people who deserve recognition & acceptance". That entails ending the Tories' ban on puberty blockers. Young people – cis & trans – must have access to healthcare they need. I'll always stand with the trans community.
