Chris Perry did the VAST majority of the heavy lifting on this, but my first mammoth Houdini project is out in the wild. Resolution was about 28k wide (plus a ceiling), my main contribution was the ocean seabed and all of its growth, animation, and illumination. 🪸 🌊

The desire to learn plays into the hands of monopolies from graphics cards manufacturers, software developers, educators - and this affects the diversity of the people making the work and therefore the work itself. Do we want a globalised “house style” of motion design?
