Remember, the vast majority of OSS does not work with allotted times or deadlines, yet in runs the fucking Internet and probably your own company. If the premise was true you'd expand at infinitum and never ship a thing! Remove artificial tensions, concentrate on execution.

Also my hot take of the day: if you, as a senior team member refuse to pair with more junior team members, you’re not only missing out on a learning opportunity yourself but you shouldn’t be in a leadership position.
