Clouds remain stubborn late this morning. It's preventing temperatures from warming up. I do see some breaks in the clouds in Mississippi. I still think we have a chance to see some sunshine late this afternoon for areas along and north of I-20/59. Here's hoping!

There's a chance patchy dense fog could develop tonight into Sunday morning. Models are showing visibility decreasing to a quarter of a mile or less in many locations. Temperatures will likely cool into the mid to upper 30s Sunday morning. Details: #alwx

The Geminid Meteor shower peaks tonight, but clouds and showers could disrupt your chance to see it across Alabama. Geminids are best to see away from light pollution and after midnight. If we had a clear sky, we would be able to see around 100-150 meteors per hour.
